ICFOSS is the outcome of a decade of work by Free Software enthusiasts, advocates, developers and supporters in the state of Kerala and outside. Recognizing the strides made by the FOSS community in Kerala, and sensing a need to do more, the Government of Kerala, in 2008, had set up a Committee headed by Prof Rahul De of IIM Bangalore to recommend what further could be done to support the cause of FOSS.
ICT Academy of Kerala is a Social Enterprise created in a Public Private Partnership model (PPP) for imparting ICT skills to the youths of Kerala and improve their employability opportunities in the Industry. The Company is supported by Govt. of India , partnered by Govt. of Kerala and the ICT industry. ICTAK do research and offers training programs on diverse streams,ranging from emerging technologies to life skills. Being a Social Enterprise, we strive to enhance the technology skills of the youth thereby embibing industry relavent skills.
The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) is an autonomous body under the ministry of S&T, Kerala, constituted in November 2002 to be an agency for change and development through science and technology. Formerly it was the Science, Technology and Environment Committee (STEC), established in 1972 in concurrence with the Science Policy of Government of India. The council promotes and activates programs for increasing the stock of knowledge in science, and fine tunes policies which are significant and for the sustained development of humanity. The council prepares the road map for development through scientific research and innovation in technologies.
The aim of this conference is to bring together academicians, researchers and professionals from diverse fields of computing and security to a common platform in order to facilitate exchange of knowledge and experience. The conference will provide an arena for showcasing of novel research findings and practical experiences in the field of computing and security. The accepted papers will be published in reputed conference series the details of which will be updated soon.
Original research papers on recent advances security and computing are invited to be presented in the conference. The prescribed guidelines for submitting the camera ready full length paper are to be followed. The total number of pages may be restricted to 10-15. Font should be Times New Roman 12 point. Single spacing and Single Column. Upon acceptance of the paper, authors will be intimated to submit their registration form along with the camera ready paper as per the guidelines of the publisher. Detailed guidelines as per the proceedings format will be intimated to selected authors. The papers will be accepted subjected to peer review and the changes should be incorporated as per the feedback. All accepted papers (research articles) will be published in the Scopus indexed journal International Journal of Recent Technology and Engineering and other papers (survey papers) will be published in UGC approved journal Journal of Computational Information Systems
